J-M Manufacturing Company Launches New Corporate Identity

JMM Announces New Company Logo and Tagline That Signifies New Direction and Growth

Livingston, NJ – December 1, 2005 – J-M Manufacturing Company, Inc. (JMM), the largest producer of plastic pipe in the world, has launched a new logo. The meaning of their new logo symbol (above) is two-fold. First, the blue and green colors are indicative of their water transmission/distribution and gravity sewer pipes – the main core of their business. These colors also represent earth and sky, signifying the company’s environmental safety consciousness. Second, the circular blue and green arches, in addition to representing pipe, also imply motion, indicating the continuing change in the world around us and JMM’s place in the center of progress, driving for improvement. The company will soon be launching a new product line and plans to continue its expansion of capacity over the next five years.

JMM’s new tagline, “building essentials for a better tomorrow,” reflects the company’s mission to do its part to make the world a better place by providing the essential products that carry our most precious resources; water, electricity, telecommunications, and fuel. With this philosophy in mind, J-M Manufacturing supports the growing needs of society.

J-M Manufacturing Company, Inc. was formed in 1982 with the acquisition of eight pipe production facilities. Today, the company operates out of 14 manufacturing plants across the United States, with headquarters in Livingston, New Jersey.
